Case study: Stagecoach Yorkshire
Electrifying Stagecoach Yorkshire – A Sustainable Transformation
VEV partnered with Stagecoach Yorkshire to transform its 90-year-old Chesterfield depot into a fully electrified bus charging and energy hub, installing high-power charging infrastructure, smart energy management with VEV-IQ and on-site renewables. The project enabled deployment of 57 electric buses replacing over two-thirds of the diesel fleet, demonstrating the operational and commercial viability of large-scale fleet electrification while cutting energy costs and carbon emissions.
